'Refreshing Shower" @ Bukit Tabur

Yesterday, woke up at 4.15 AM and prepared some stuffs for hiking at West Tabur Hill with a bunch of new friends. There were about 20 people and we went there by 4 cars. (Original, i thought there were only 6 people but came out... o.O--surprised~!)

Reached at Tabur Hill around 6 AM and we started to hike. Some of us (including me) forgot to bring our own torch lights, and gloves making the journey a little bit harder (>.<) Resulting to me having a few scratches on my hands (especially my fingers x.X) What's the most interesting part is that, after hiking 2 out of 5 peaks, there was a thunder.. then... FLOOOSSHH----heavy rain (Siao, isnt it? when we were quite far from where we came from!!! geez!). All of us were soaked. We stopped at a point to wait for the rain to cease... but it just got heavier and heavier. No shelter, no nothing... just standing (and some sitting) under the heavy rain (x_X)

With such heavy rain, we decided to stop hiking because it's dangerous to continue to hike, and return back to our starting point. (We were quite far already!) So when the rain started to cease a 'bit', we begin our journey back 'home'.. hahaha

While on the way, we almost got lost! Geez, luckily we make a "u-turn" and found the path we used. Cant really enjoy the sceneries there, due to mist and it is still raining! We thought we were able to enjoy a
'sun rise view', but turns out to be a 'misty view'... lol. But, we could still see a beautiful lake and the city. There were beautiful sceneries even though it wasn't really clear.

So after we hike hike hike for 2 hours, with all of us
200% wet, we decided to go to a nearby Petronas station to change clothes. (What i learned from this journey is to bring along a pants and undergarments, not just a shirt in our next trip, hahahaa!!)

Then we decided to drive to Batu Caves to climb the stairs since we couldn’t complete our hiking @ bukit tabur!! lol, Nah, no way, man! We went to Batu Caves to have our brunch (10.45 am then) The restaurant was quite famous for its porridge and noodles. (a corner shop, i think most of you would have went there before =/)

So we ordered a couple of dishes and we gobble it all up like nobody’s business.. hahahaha. But what shocked me was the table i was sitting (there were 10 people) most of them had their
own DSLRs... (Sheesh! how much i envy them! AND it was only the table i was sitting!!!) Most of them are professional photographers, so they brought their own DSLR bags, lens, etc, etc... all those DSLR equipments. Shit! And what's funny is that when the first dish arrives, all of them stood up and started to take pictures!! my gawd, it's like those foods were celebs and them, paparazzi!!

After we finished makan already, we had some chat, and around 12.30, we decided to part. It was an interesting and adventurous journey. When I reached home, i quickly took my shower and head to my bed.. HAHAHA! It's quite a
tiring outing, but all of us decided to finish the other 'part 2' of bukit tabur some other time ^^

Here's some pictures taken.. (There weren’t lots due to the heavy rain... >.<)

Can you see how 'dark' it is & how it's like to hike without a torchlight??? LOL

The Hiking People!

Can you see how wet we are? hahaha

Just finished changing our clothes @ Petronas

The Porridge which i said "Famous & Delicious"~!

Those which i circled in red are the DSLRs they're holding!!!
Plus, the one in red sentence: "1 more here!" which is taking our picture!

Well, that's all for today ;) Going to sleep soon ^^
Will update soon ;)

Good Discovery

It was a 'Discovery Day' for me, yesterday. I found out a couple of interesting things and i was glad that i did some research. まず第一に、最近私は日本語でタイピングができるようになりました。 <- It means: First of all - recently, i learned how to type in Japanese using the computer's keyboard ;) it can be set in the control panel system. It may look complicating at first but trust me, it was so damn freaking simple!! So now i can write in Japanese 「日本語」 OR English 「英語」 without a hassle!! Hurray <3!!

Next, i found out this website: http://thejapanesepage.com/node/kanji/dictionaryframe.htm <- a very useful site for those who wants to study Kanji 「漢字」or Chinese characters.

Third, i met a Japanese teacher ^^ And he is willing to teach me Japanese for FREE! Both in writing and conversing! His English is quite good too (but his speaking skill... ahem*), BUT STILL, as long as we can still understand each other, it's OK!

Fourth, most of you must have realized that there's a new banner on top of my Bloggy. Yes, i designed it, AND NO, i didn't copy and paste it from any websites! The Japanese sentence there was the first sentence written when i first got to write in Japanese using my keyboard. It means: "What I love most is your smile." Simple but I love it.

Fifth, I've decided to join Loyal Kiss [http://z10.invisionfree.com/Loyal_Kiss/] A group which provides free scanlations and translation on Mangas [One of their projects is Kimi ni Todoke 「君に届け」. So i would like to join in that project]. I've yet to take the 'test' required for recruitment because I'm worried about 'time'. There's less than a month's time before my degree starts. I'm not sure i will be able to spend more time on that. BUT I'd like to do it now, since I'm still having my sweet holiday, and i could improve my Japanese too. Oh well, might as well toss the coin to decide ;)

Sixth, I’m planning to create my own Bloggy Skin. SO, if any of you know any websites for such tutorial. It would be a great help ;)

Well, I guess that’s all for today. I’ll write again soon ;)

Thanks for reading my Bloggy!

Finally PASSED My Driving Test!!!!!

I was so nervous once i reached there - no practice for 3 weeks! I wondered if I could still remember how to drive LOL XD Actually there should be 2 hours practice on the day before, but it was canceled (And I'm happy it did, saved my $$$) Also, luckily, the car I was given today seems to be a bit 'new' and it's a lot better than the crappy old car I once drove!

I passed everything in first attempt AND I'M HAPPY THAT I DID!!! OH, and I was happy when people were looking at me in awe when i came out of the car after completing everything ;) I was number 4, so there were quite a lot of people watching (#>.<#) Huh... i feel so relieved after i passed everything. No more driving tests or idiot classes. AND i'll get my P driving license in 3/4 days later. The aunt will be delivering my P license to my doorstep (how nice of her ^_^) So next time when I hang out with you guys, i can drive myself if i have a car. No more troubles - Especially to E Ling (>.<) So E Ling, i can fetch you next time when we hang out together.. wakakaka... Oh, and thanks to my friends who wished me the day before my driving test ^^ your luck is very much appreciated! lol XD So, I'm going to wish them:- >> AARON - EMO GUY - GOOD LUCK IN YOUR MIDTERM & DRIVING TEST!
>> KENT FO - GOOD LUCK IN YOUR DRIVING TEST IN MARCH 1ST
>> JAMEX - GOOD LUCK WITH 'HER' WAKAKAKA
>> HUEY JEEN - GOOD LUCK IN YOUR EXAMS IN UK
>> And for those sitting for/going to sit for MIDTERM - I WISH YOU ALL GOOD LUCK :)

P.S.: Will update again ;)

My First Bloggy =P

This may seem odd to some friends of mine, as I, Cheryl Leong would start my own bloggy and is filling it with all the craps I could think of. Not even knowing if there will be a single person reading my bloggy. So please comment every time you read my blog.. hahaha XD (I’ll treat you McDonald’s 1 Sundae Cone Ice-cream – but for a limited time period only!)

There are 3 reasons I started this blog:-
1) I have too much free time (I guess…)
2) I was bored (most of my friends started their degree programmes… I feel kind of left out!)
3) I am crazy (definitely…)

So since this is my first post, I’m tired/lazy to type any more of this =.=

Can I just end here? I promise I’ll post more after this.. hahaha.. if I feel like it… =P
